Basically, I like to read and talk and write about books! I got B.A. in Humanities and later went back for an M.A. in Literature, after which I wrote a monthly column on the classics for an online magazine for seven years. Over a thousand people joined my online book club and we read the classics together in our jammies. As a result I wrote Back to the Best Books: How the Classics Can Change Your Life. It is a study of 36 classic works of literature for people who want to get into the books they wish they had read! Your book group will love it.

 

Five years ago I retired as Senior Content Creator at FMG Suite, one of two companies my husband Craig has founded, and for which I have written lots of financial stuff (though I still can’t balance a checkbook) including ghost-writing The Art of Digital Marketing: A How-to Guide for Financial Professionals, for Craig.  

 

Since 2012 I have taught  a weekly scripture class for the Del Mar, California Stake. This has been a delightful project, and has led to a series of scripture study guides with a fresh take on the sacred stories. We started in 2015 with The User-friendly Book of Mormon: Timeless Truths for Today’s Challenges, followed in 2017 by The User-friendly Old Testament: A Modern Approach to Ancient Scripture. Next up is The User-friendly New Testament: Finding Ourselves in the Stories of Jesus.

 

Craig and I live in Rancho Santa Fe, California with our dogs, Frankie and Jonny. We are the parents of five children and the grandparents of nine and counting.
